Everything Cornhole To Feed Your Addiction

One year ago, the week of 5 December, Greyson Waller played in his first ACL Open, which was also only the third ACL event he had ever played in. He took 2nd place in the Competitive Division in Singles. Not much was made of it except for in his inner circle. Fast forward a year, and he is on the cusp of national prominence. With recent victories over some of the biggest names in the sport, it appears that no person or event is too large for this young superstar. In the movie For Love of the Game, Billy Chapel is a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers and is pitching the game of his life: a perfect game. Late in the game, the Yankees manager substitutes a batter to face Chapel, a young and strapping kid named Ken Strout who hadn’t spent much time in the big leagues. Strout was the 27th batter of the game. If he makes an out, he becomes the 27th out and Billy Chapel gets his perfect game. If he somehow gets on base, he ruins the perfect game. Either way, Strout was going to make history. Whil...

I can honestly say that I got one great thing out of the Pandemic and that is cornhole. The Pandemic for me was the ultimate trigger and the icing on the mental breakdown cupcake. I was in the middle of a divorce after being married twenty-one years. My home was a small downstairs apartment that smelled as bad as it was out of date. My youngest child was a senior and struggling with a major case of senioritis. I worked in the Accounts Payable Department and the bills still must paid and checks still must be printed, so I was one of the four people allowed in the building. It was a shock going from working with three other women every day to being alone in an accounting office. My oldest Son and Nephew were battling addiction currently. To put the sprinkles on top of this mental breakdown cupcake, I was turning the big 5-0. Depression is like a wave at the beach. Facing the ocean, you see the wave forming a distance from you. But, instead of getting out of the water, your feet are plant...

The ACL Points System for 22/23 Season If you are like most, you are completely confused with the new 22/23 ACL Points system. We are going to break it down for you so that you know exactly what you need to do to get maximum points this season, even if you are not looking to be a pro. Much of this information can be found in our ACL Players Guide article but it is mixed in with all the other info and we feel this should be separate to make it easier to understand. Player Divisions ACL Points are earned based on which event you are attending and also the skill level or division you are competing in. Here are the following divisions the ACL offers, but not all divisions can be found at each event. If there are not enough people registered for any division for that event, you may be forced to play in a higher division but you can never play in a lower division. The skill levels/divisions are as follows: Novice , Intermediate , Competitive , Advanced , Open and Pro . If you would like mor...

Proud to welcome Clayton Robertson to Team Addicts for his 3rd season with us! 2022 was his rookie season as an ACL Pro but unfortunately he just missed the mark of requalifying so this year so we will leave it up to the application process. Pro status or not, we love everything about him and are happy to have him representing our brand both on and off the boards. He also runs the Addicts Battleground League out in Gettysburg, PA. Clayton is not only a team player but also a great friend. Looking forward to another awesome year. #cornholeaddicts #feedyouraddiction #teamaddicts #acl #cornhole https://bit.ly/3Erq8vd
